Energy security and politics of energy is a caustic and urgent matter in the modern world. As the population increases, energy resource use tends to increase as well. The present condition benefits the economy, but it comes with the cost of the vulnerability of those energy-dependent countries, as the degree of dependency threatens the national security of the state. In the modern world, various energy resource-producing countries use their resources as an effective tool to force their political will. The Black Sea region energy resource transporting-wise is an exceedingly important bridgehead.  The role of the region, as a transit passageway, still has a predominant meaning within the scale of ever disputed regional political agenda, which conflicts with one another. In the Black Sea basin, on-going energy-resource matters are clear images of the world's political processes, where global actors share or represent the different political points of view. 

This paper will review the region's geopolitical importance and future perspectives, which on the background of energy-resources, it gains more value and can turn into the potential conflict zone.
