In the dissertation - “The Chinese state identity and its place in the international system" - the defining characteristics of the national identity of the Chinese nation are explored, arguing that it directly affects the formation of the Chinese worldview in international relations. In order to discuss China at a qualitatively new level, the paper examines the hidden correlations between Chinese state identity and Chinese history and political philosophy.
