Along with international relations and global politics, our research center is working on issues with philosophical content. An article “Philosophical Categories of Part and Whole and New Paradigm” will be published in the near future. The paper will discuss one of the oldest problems of philosophy of utmost importance: the interrelationship between parts and wholes.
As part of the research, the author examines philosophical questions related to this topic. On this subject, the author also delivers the positions of such prominent thinkers as Plato, Aristotle, Immanuel Kant, and Friedrich Hegel. At the end of the article, the subject of part-whole relation is represented from the perspective of Cyclic Logic (Theory of Noological Elements), the product of the Georgian scientific school.
The main novelty of Emzar Khvichia, the author of Theory of Noological Elements, is that he examines two historical principles of the interrelation of part and the whole in unity and, based on this, defines “Complete Systems,” “Condition of Noological Completeness.” Cyclic logic is the original logical apparatus for describing “Complete Systems”.
