Bukhuti Sitchinava obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Caucasus International University. After completion of the Master’s Programe in International Relations and International Security at the same university, he was awarded with his master’s degree in International Relations. He successfully defended his master's dissertation with title - Water Resources and its Impact on the Politics of the Middle East.
Since 2019, Bukhuti Sitchinava is a doctoral student of political sciences and the title of his dissertation is - The idea of creating a united Kurdish state: challenges and perspectives. Within the scope of his dissertation he reviews the history of Kurdish issue, analyses modern regional and global political processes and researchers the perspectives of creation of Kurdish state. In the process of his research he uses relevant research methods and analyses the aforesaid issue through perspectives on various theories.
Currently Bukhuti Sitchinava is researcher of the Center for International Politics Research and Forecasting and he is actively involved in academic and scientific activities. He participates in local and international scientific conferences and forums. Has published up to ten scientific articles in various local or foreign peer-reviewed journals.
